The Brief
A vibrant modern new bar/lounge in the former 1903 lounge in the departure terminal of Bristol Airport. Working directly for the client, HMS Host, we were tasked with a full Design and Build solution to be completed in a demanding programme duration.
The Solution
A full refurbishment of the former 1903 Lounge to transform it into the new Alembic Bar. The new space was to draw on the concept influences of an Alembic still, used since ancient times and still used today in the production of cognac. Polished copper colour themes and natural materials were incorporated into the finished design to create a light airy and modern dining experience. The Client relied on our delivery team’s expertise at Bristol Airport to ensure the design and build process went as smoothly as possible. The full scope of Mechanical, Electrical, build, finishes and decorations were delivered on time and to the highest quality.
