We have a commitment to improving mental health awareness with key staff trained in Mental Health First Aid. This provides us with the skills and knowledge to help any member of the team if they find themselves suffering with their mental health. This enables us also to spot the signs if one of our employees is struggling and we can act quickly to make sure they receive the support they need.
Another Level are Accredited Apprenticeship providers, working closely with Weston College and City of Bristol College. Our Apprentices are a valued part of our team. Our current Apprentices attend college one day a week and work with our qualified team members the rest of the week giving them the practical knowledge they need to develop their skills.
We are involved in Charity fundraising and donate to the Christmas shoebox appeal. Donating shoeboxes full of gifts and essentials to those in need.
We also provide peer mentoring and outreach to the ‘Women Like Me’ initiative which is aimed at increasing female participation in engineering and construction careers.

Another Level are a responsible organisation. We obtained CHAS and SafeContractor certification from the inception of our company. We fully vet our supply chain to ensure their products are sustainably sourced which helps ensure our carbon footprint is minimised.
Our waste recycling partners are committed to providing a sustainable solution, including targeting Zero waste to landfill and they regularly provide us with reports to evidence our carbon footprint.
Our head office is constructed from eco-friendly recycled shipping containers with the main source of energy provided by solar panels. It is insulated and internally clad using only sustainably sourced materials. The head office is on the main Bristol to Bath cycle track and we promote cycle to work schemes as one of our many company initiatives.
All our staff possess CSCS cards and have therefore passed environmental modules compiled by the CITB. Our Supervisors possess the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme 2-day Construction Skills course. Our site staff also possess asbestos awareness training to further ensure environmental compliance
We are committed to people development and operate an apprenticeship scheme. Apprentices are trained in Construction Management which incorporates sustainability and environmental management modules as part of their learning. The apprentices are encouraged to ‘give back’ their learning to the business as it is recognised their learning is current and of good quality.
Our partnered Plant hire company, South-West Tool Hire, fully support our endeavours. They utilise state of the art plant and equipment which reduces the carbon footprint. They have invested in Electric lift/working platforms with zero emissions and silent operation.
There is a constant strive for improvement with regards to Environmental Management and sustainability. We are ISO9001 accredited and are striving towards achieving ISO14001.
We actively encourage our staff and supply chain recommend ideas to enhance environmental performance on our sites. Initiatives are discussed during our regular team meetings

Here at Another Level we are CHAS and SafeContractor accredited. We prioritise creating a safe work environment for both our workforce and anyone in proximity to our project sites. We ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), tailored to the specific requirements of their roles.
We specialise in Principal Contractor duties, working safely under Construction Phase Plans.
We are highly skilled in working in specialised and restricted environments, such as Airports, Industrial clean rooms, schools, hotels and Sports Stadiums. We ensure our approach is tailored for the specific requirements of each client and environment. Unique risks are identified and mitigated as part of our process.
Each staff member undergoes appropriate health and safety training for their job, along with first aid training to be prepared for any potential incidents on site. Comprehensive Method Statements and risk assessments are conducted for every project, identifying potential hazards, and these assessments are readily accessible to all staff.
We also hold weekly toolbox talks led by on-site team members, providing a platform to address any project-related issues and using these discussions as valuable learning opportunities, particularly for our apprentices
